Friday Night's Drinkin' To: Walter Wanderley

Music is a fascinating subject. It can be simple and engaging, or it can be extremely complex and absolutely boring. A lot of it is about how individuals perceive sound; and this makes it very subjective.

I've observed that music is always in the details. You do need something that is obvious to your ears, but the essence of a good track is always in the things that occur occasionally and in the background. A bunch of notes hanging around can change the mood and convey another meaning, much like a misplaced comma.

I guess this track appealed to me because it sounds simple. But there are little things hidden for your ear to notice the next time you play it, which makes you want to investigate it further.

Cheers!

Artist: Walter Wanderley
Track: Os Grilos (The Crickets Sing for Anamaria)
